Inspiration into reality DIY

And here it is! My version of the flower bulbs in a cake tin! Last sunday I showed you my inspiration and this is what I made of it. I'm very excited and happy about how it turned out :).
En hier is ie dan! Mijn versie van de bloembollen in een bakvorm! Afgelopen zondag liet ik jullie mijn inpiratie zien en dit is wat ik er van gemaakt heb. Ik vind het zelf super leuk geworden :).

First this is what you need when you want to make your own:
Dit is wat je nodig hebt om er zelf 1 te maken:

You can choose whatever cake tin you want. Big, small, old (thriftstore!), new, doesn't matter, but make sure there is enough space for the roots, otherwise your bulbs will die faster than you want. Put in some soil, put the bulbs in the soil and put on the moss. That's it! I've put in some cling foil to protect my baking tin, which also might prevent old tins from leaking water (use a serving plate to protect your table ;) ). Also I've put in some candles in the small tins to light in the evening.

Je kan elk bakblik wat je wil gebruiken. Groot, klein, oud (kringloopwinkel!), nieuw, maakt niet uit. Maar zorg dat er genoeg ruimte is voor de worteltjes van de bollen, anders gaan ze erg snel dood. Doe wat aarde in het blik, stop de bollen in de aarde en vul op met het mos. That's it! Ik heb onderin wel wat afdekfolie (uit de keuken, je weet wel dat nare spul dat aan elkaar blijft kleven) gedaan om het bakblik te beschermen en dit zou bij oude bakblikken ook lekken kunnen voorkomen (voor de zekerheid zou ik er een dienblad onder zetten). Ik heb wat waxinelichtjes in de kleine vormpjes gedaan om 's avonds te branden.

My little tins are from Dille&Kamille, the small cake tin I bought in France (however, also Dille&Kamille has it) at the Lidl, flower bulbs are from the local garden center and moss from my parent's garden. I chose Grape Hyacinths since they are smaller than normal Hyacinths and yellow Narcisses didn't seem to fit in with the grey colours of the cake tins (couldn't find white Narcisses).

Mijn kleine vormpjes komen van Dille&Kamille, de bakvorm heb ik in Frankrijk bij de Lidl (maar ook die heeft Dille&Kamille) gekocht, de bloembolletjes komen van tuincentrum Overvecht en het mos uit de tuin van mijn ouders. Ik heb voor blauwe druifjes gekozen omdat die kleiner zijn dan Hyachinten en ik die qua kleur mooier vind passen dan gele Narcissen (witte Narcissen heb ik nog niet gevonden).
